Well, wouldn’t you know? Optimal Usability had a competition in their latest newsletter. And you could win an iPod -an 80GB iPod Classic in black. All I had to do was fill in a 2 minute survey. Nice.
And would you believe it? I WON? I was home sick for two days (again) and came back to work on the Friday and saw an email saying I had won! Hooray! I never win anything, and yet I won this iPod!
It is a magnificent iPod. It can take video and everything. yeah, yeah, I know that the iPod touch is all the rage now, but who the fuck wants only 8GB or 16GB when they could have 80GB?
I went and purchased a little cover for it so it doesn’t end up looking all worn out like my 30GB one.
Now I just need to find a nice home for my 30GB, or I could just use it as an external drive. God knows it’s much lighter than my portable drive.

Sorry I didn’t visit. I wasn’t even able to watch the TV, that is how much pain I was in. I had to lie in bed in a very, very dark room just to stop it hurting. Otherwise I would have been there in a blink, and you know it
