Diablo 3!

Two decades have passed since the demonic denizens, Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, wandered the world of Sanctuary in a vicious rampage to shackle humanity into unholy slavery. Yet for those who battled the Prime Evils directly, the memory fades slowly and the wounds of the soul still burn.

When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram’s Cathedral seeking clues to new stirrings of evil, a comet from the heavens strikes the very ground where Diablo once entered the world. The comet carries a dark omen in its fiery being and it calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells – and even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself.

Stay a while, and listen….

Blizzard have finally announced Diablo 3. Took them a feckin’ while. But you had to figure something was up when they started going around buying up domain names eh?

Go and read the FAQ! There is some news about the classes which will be available. I’m a bit fuddled about the Wtich Doctor class, and I hope to God they bring back the Assassin – best. class. ever. And there is some even better news about quests. They haven’t completed them yet, but there will be class specific ones. Which means you could play the game 5 times over and every time it would be different! -_- (.)

I’ve been waiting a long, long time for this, and I am super excited. I was so paranoid for a while that it would be a dumbarse WoW type thing – totally sucking and too addictive to play. But they followed through on a true RPG and made it a solo game with Battle.Net added in for bonus fun-times.

Thank you Blizzard, for not selling out. And now, go over to the Blizzard Diablo 3 website and read about Deckard Cain *groan*, Tristram, Sanctuary and all the cool things which have now come back to life!
